Casa de Cultură a Studenților din Sibiu s-a înființat din nevoia de a aduna energiile studențești și de a crea un liant între studenții din întreaga țară și din lume.  În ultimii ani, ca urmare a dezvoltării Centrului Universitar de la Sibiu, Casa de Cultură Studențească a devenit un partener viabil și un prieten apropiat al studenților. În momentul de față, centrul universitar sibian numără aproximativ 30.000 de studenți, ai căror reprezentanți activează în cadrul Casei de Cultură Studențești.  Încă de la începuturi, aici și-au desfășurat activitatea trupe de teatru, formații de dans modern, dans contemporan, formații de dansuri populare, trupe de manechine etc.  Casa de Cultură a Studenților Sibiu este un partener internațional activ, fiind implicată în forme de cooperare și parteneriat cu mai mult de 30 de organizații similare din întreaga lume. http://www.casastudentilorsibiu.ro/

Built in the 12th century, the fortified church in Cisnădioara is one of Romania’s oldest Romanesque basilicas, preserved almost unchanged, and hosting the oldest church organ in the country. The legend has it that the village lads used to prove their strength before getting married by rolling uphill the big boulder stones from the monastery yard, gathered there for times of trouble. Presently the basilica at the feet of Cindrel Mountains comes alive at film projections, concerts or romantic picnics in the moonlight. Sibiu, Romania hosts the 14th edition of Red Bull Romaniacs Hard-Enduro Rally: July 25-29, 2017 The Red Bull Romaniacs Extreme Enduro Rally was created in 2004 by founder Martin Freinademetz. Over the past years it has evolved to the world`s toughest Hard Enduro Rally. The Red Bull Romaniacs takes place every year and attracts riders from about 40 countries. The race is spread over five days, the first being the inner-city prologue in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans. The four “Offroad race days” lead the competitors on some of the world`s most beautiful Enduro trails in the region around Sibiu, Romania (Southern Carpathian Mountains). The breathtaking wilderness, the Romanian hospitality and the unbelievable challenges make the 600km race an unforgettable, lifelong memory for all participants.
