Tursib S.A. is the local public transport company of the Municipality of Sibiu as sole shareholder and serving over 130,000 inhabitants of the Municipality of Sibiu, over an area of 121 km2.  The transport infrastructure comprises 32 routes, organised into primary, secondary, professional, tourist and student routes. THE FLEET The Tursib fleet consists of 121 electric, diesel and compressed gas buses, 5 electric minibuses and 2 diesel coaches, that cover more than 17,600 km daily. On average, over 100,000 passengers use our fleet daily.  We use a modern fleet monitoring system that allows citizens to view the position of buses in real time. It can be accessed on our website or in the SibiuBus mobile app.  Buses are regularly sanitised and our technicians work hard to ensure they are in top condition. They regularly maintain the motors, electrical systems and bus bodies, to ensure that these operate optimally, without technical problems. STATIONS AND FACILITIES Tursib buses stop at more than 300 stations, managed by the Municipality of Sibiu. Some of the stations are equipped with electronic displays, showing bus arrival times and information notices for passengers.  Most buses are equipped with ramps to ensure the access for people with reduced mobility.  In addition, the buses have special seats for strollers, people with reduced mobility, pregnant women and the elderly.  To ensure a high level of safety during journeys, all buses are equipped with a video monitoring system.  Video cameras constantly monitor the inside and outside of buses, helping to prevent and deal with unpleasant situations. They also provide bus drivers with a view of the whole bus, making it easier to monitor passengers and check that they are complying with safety rules and regulations.  Moreover, Tursib buses are equipped with free Wi-Fi and plugs for charging devices, allowing you to stay connected. TICKET SYSTEM  The ticket system is modern and offers customers the possibility to purchase tickets through 7 different channels: 1. From Tursib agencies  2. From vending machines  3. From contactless devices within the buses 4. By using the SibiuBus mobile app  5. By using the 24Pay mobile app  6. Online, from our website: www.tursib.ro  7. From collaborators SERVICES  Tursib offers additional services, such as periodic technical inspections and advertising on bus screens. WHAT NEXT? Together with the Sibiu City Hall, we aim to expand the number of low-emission buses and electronic displays in order to contribute to lowering the city's pollution levels and improve the experience of our passengers.  For more information and to keep up to date with our news, you can visit www.tursib.ro, our Facebook, Instagram or YouTube page. An inspired choice for our city – take the bus, not the car!
